Lending a Helping Hand

We are a group of local volunteers who work together to maintain our park, provide new play equipment and organise community events. We do this because we love where we live and want to make the most of our beautiful surroundings for everyone.

It Starts With the Will to Make a Difference

What a fantastic day! We hope you enjoyed it as much as we did!

Congratulations to all our competition and raffle winners, and thank you so much to all those that came out! BREDON'S BIG DAY OUT 2020 has been confirmed for SATURDAY 27TH JUNE.

Bredon Community Play and Recreation have been funding play rangers for Bredon Playing fields for the past couple of years. This year is no different.

Play Gloucestershire's Play Rangers visited us  on:

Wednesdays 12th, 19th and 26th June 2019 between 4pm and 6pm.

Wednesday 24th July and 21st August between 10am and 4pm.

Our Play Ranger activities take place in all weathers and are open access. This means there is no registration. Children are free to come and go as they please.  Under 7's are welcome but need to be accompanied by a parent or carer.

 Please do spread the word.

200 CLUB

We raise money through fundraising, community grants and our all important 200 CLUB. To help us continue our work please support us by joining our 200 club. The cost is currently  £15 a year and we hold a prize draw for all members 6 times a year with prizes up to £50. If you love the playing fields, are a regular user or want to see more community events, please join the club. Membership form can be found here.

We run regular Sunday maintenance sessions at the park to help maintain our beautiful park. We are always looking for more volunteers, so if you can spare time to help out it would be greatly appreciated. Everyone is welcome, no experience necessary and tools will be provided.
