BREDON COMMUNITY PLAY AND RECREATION
Bredon Community Play & Recreation promotes the development of community spaces that offer inspiring and inclusive recreation opportunities for all members of the Bredon community, which is situated in rural Worcestershire.
Bredon Playing Fields has a range of great facilities and also sports clubs to get involved with so do come along and find out for yourself!
HOW WE HELP
It Starts With the Will to Make a Difference
We raise money through fundraising, community grants and our all important 200 CLUB. To help us continue our work please support us by joining our 200 club. The cost is currently £15 a year and we hold a prize draw for all members 6 times a year with prizes up to £50. If you love the playing fields, are a regular user or want to see more community events, please join the club. Find out how to join here.
PLAY RANGERS
Bredon Community Play and Recreation have been funding play rangers for Bredon Playing fields for the past couple of years. This year is no different.
We will be having our next Play Ranger days in February 2023.
Our Play Ranger activities take place in all weathers and are open access. This means there is no registration. Children are free to come and go as they please. Under 7's are welcome but need to be accompanied by a parent or carer.
Please do spread the word.
Community Events
Every year we look for a big community event to take place at the playing fields. Bredon's Big Day Out, Picnic in the Park and other such events are fantastic days that raise money for the playing fields and brings the community together.
PLAYING FIELD MAINTENANCE
We run regular Sunday maintenance sessions at the park to help maintain our beautiful park. We are always looking for more volunteers, so if you can spare time to help out it would be greatly appreciated. Everyone is welcome, no experience necessary and tools will be provided.
