June 2019 Update

At the time of writing (mid-June), preparations for Bredon’s Big Day Out are in full swing! See the next issue of the Parish Magazine for a full write up on the event…..

To complement our new benches, which are situated at the entrance to the playing fields, our fabulous volunteer Wendy has added some new plants to the circular flower bed. One advantage of all this rain in June is that they’ve been well watered and are already looking splendid!

Our monthly maintenance sessions are still being held on the last Sunday of the month from 10.30 am to 12.30pm. If anyone would like to help with the next session, we’d love to see you. Please feel free to just turn up! We’re easy to spot by our wheelbarrows and litter pickers, and will be sporting some new, green high-visibility tabards. Volunteers can arrive anytime during the session and are welcome to stay for the whole two hours or just for a short time. All equipment and tools are provided, or volunteers are welcome to bring their own if they prefer.

Our afterschool Play Ranger dates are underway and have enjoyed great attendance and positive feedback, despite the dreary weather. Some dates for your diary in the summer holidays are 24th July and 21st August. These are both full day sessions, running from 10am-4pm, so come along and join the fun!
